INTRO TO YOGA - YOGA FOR EVERY BODY

 

Have you wanted to try yoga but felt intimidated? Do you think you don’t have the right body for yoga? That you are too old? Not flexible enough? Or is something else keeping you from experiencing the benefits of yoga? Then our Intro to Yoga class series is for you!

If you were waiting for a sign to start practicing yoga 一 it is your chance! This special class series is designed for everybody and every BODY! Each class is 75-minute vinyasa flow session particularly suited to people who are new to yoga or who want to dig a little deeper. You will learn yoga basics, get introduced to the poses, and even learn some about the underlying principles of yoga, breath, and mindfulness. It is never too late to start your yoga practice! Come join us in this welcoming practice for everyone!

MOVED BY THE MOON

The weather may be moving us indoors, but that doesn’t mean our moon events are over. Our Moved by the Moon will be held at the Life Infinity Studio at the Park Hyatt.

INTRO TO TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE

Taozi Tree Yoga is proud to present a 5-day, Traditional Chinese Medicine Training. TCM emphasizes the importance of prevention over cure. In this course, you will learn the basic theories of TCM and how to put them into practice. Every Saturday from October 30th to November 27th will emphasize a different part of the practice. From the fundamentals to acupressure to herbal medicine and more, you'll walk away with a comprehensive overview of this ancient healing practice. 

Traditional Chinese medicine theory gives us a detailed, yet flexible, understanding of the functions of the body and its relationship with the social and natural environments we live in. Everything we “take into” our bodies and our minds can impact our health. This is why the model of health and longevity in Chinese medicine is the “sage,” a person who can regulate their behavior, thoughts, and actions in ways that bring them into greater harmony with the concentric circles of life in which they exist.
